Lycoperdon ?
Scleroderma citrinum Pers. ??
Scleroderma sp.
I will not say about species as many species look morphological much similar and can be distinguished only after studying spores, gleba and microscopic analysis…
… here’s the key to distinguish between these two similar looking genera –
Earthballs (Scleroderma sp.) look like Puffballs (Lycoperdon sp.) from the outside but have a thicker peridium and the internal gleba soon turns purplish black. In Scleroderma the outer skin breaks open to release the spores, whereas in Lycoperdon the spores escape through a designated hole.
So, I am saying this Scleroderma sp. as in images we can see that skin is cracking….
