Requesting to please ID this plant captured on the Shilonda trail, SGNP, Mumbai in July 2014. This could be Neuracanthus sphaerostachyus (i.e Pin Cushion Plant)?? Newly born babies of Pleocaulus ritchei (C.B.Clarke) Bremek. Thank you … On googling, the margin of the leaves of the plant I posted looks a bit different from Pleocaulus ritchei…… Did you notice these plants towards the end of the trail that day? These babies are in abundance all along the Shilonda trail, as we noticed. Thank you … for the information…. I will try to visit the trail in a month or so, hopefully they would then provide further clues… yea it is Neuracanthus sphaerostachyus for sure. Thank you … for confirmation….
