In some places it is used as vegetable in some parts but grows as a weed in many areas.

Ayurvedic folks recommend it to pacify Pitta.
Similar to spinach in vitamins and mineral contents, it also seems to have some oxalic acid, just like spinach. (I forgot to mention that earlier in my spinach submission), so some caution is recommended.

Yes Chenopodium album

I feel it’s chenopodium murale…i would like to know your valuable comments…

Chenopodium murale does not have this whitish bloom, leaves are more greener, larger and lobed, plus it is a more compact plant.

In some places it is used as vegetable in some parts but grows as a weed in many areas

Chenopodiaceae and Amaranthaceae Week:: UD 003 :: Chenopodium alba from market for vegetable:
Called Beto shaak or Bethua shaak in local Bangali parlance

Local markets sell it, coming from farms, mainly in winter
I like the very tiny white flowers and the varied leaves shape
And margins in the terminal end of the herb.
Ayurvedic folks recommend it to pacify Pitta.
Similar to spinach in vitamins and mineral contents, it also seems to have some oxalic acid, just like spinach.  (I forgot to mention that earlier in my spinach submission), so some caution is recommended.

By the way it is Chenopodium album. When a character is used to name a species, it has to agree with the gender of the genus (Rosa alba, Chenopodium album, Mallotus albus’ Oryza sativa, Allium sativum, Lathyrus sativus) unless it is a tree (tree in classical Latin is Feminine, so would be the names (Pinus wallichiana, Malus domestica, Prunus persica)

Santali name(s) of Chenopodium album L.:
Please help me with the Santali name(s) of Chenopodium album L., if any.
I was not able to find any names in my available resources.

I have found one web page which is from Purdue University (https://www.purdue.edu/hla/sites/famine-foods/famine_food/chenopodium-album-2/). It says Bhatua arak as a Santali name. It’s transcription shall be ᱵᱟᱹᱛᱷᱩᱣᱟ ᱟᱲᱟᱜ
Also, many adivasi people mostly use Bathua for Chenopodium album

.

Is this Chenopodium album?: 6 images.

Am posting images of a plant which I believe is C.album.
It was growing on the edge of a lawn in Rawathpora Srinagar
Habitat : wild
Habit herb, about 90 cm high. leaves and stem covered by fine white hair like appendages giving it a velvety feel (See close up photos), These are very dense on  bracts and inflorescences. Flowers 2mm dia. with 5 tepals .They are gamotepalous, green on inside with white margins (See photo). Stamens 5, project about 1mm beyond tepals.
Locals do not eat it but migrant laborers consider its leaves as an excellent vegetable.
