In Andhra Pradesh 3 species of Suaeda are available. 
Plant name: Suaeda monoica Forssk., Fl. Aegypt.-Arab. 70. 1775.
Ver.names: Greater Indian salt wort (Eng.); Koyyala kura, galigoru dubbu (Tel.).
Family: Amaranthaceae
Description: Suaeda species are halophytic succulent mangrove associates; S.monoica is erect glabrous annual herbs, grow in high and low salt marshes and along tidal banks; form dense communities; are usually shiny light green in colour, and turn reddish as they age. Leaves alternately crowded, linear-oblong, spathulate, flat, rounded at tip.  Inflorescences are axillary in position and the flowers are clustered in cymes; the number of flowers at each leaf axil is 5-9; flowers greenish, ususally bisexual 2–3 mm long and 3mm wide,   each flower cluster consists of a large male flower with a rudimentary ovary surrounded by smaller female flowers with or without staminodes. Certain individual plants produce only female flowers. Perianth lobes 5, free equal succulent, glabrous and keeled . The tepals are abaxially rounded and distally hooded at maturity. The stamens are 5, free, basifixed, the anthers globose-ellipsoid, exserted, introrse, dithecal and tetra-sporangiate. Ovary is pear-shaped, uni-locular with solitary ovule on basal placentation, stigmas 3, sessile, filiform, hairy-papillate, and arise from a pit at the top of the ovary. 

We do not have any observation of this species so far in efi.
How is it different from similar species like Suaeda maritima (L.) Dumort.  (with image)?

Suaeda maritima (L.) Dumort., / Syn. Suaeda nudiflora (Willd.) Moq.,
It grows in areas not occupied by the other Suaeda species. The plant grows to a height of up to 1.5m tall, it tends to be grey in colour, and turns blackish as it ages. Plants either bisexual or functionally unisexual. The leaves are linear, ovate, fleshy, terete base acute, apex sub-acute. The flowering occurs throughout the year with concentrated flowering from July-September; Inflorescences are axillary in position and the flowers are clustered in cymes; the number of flowers at each leaf axil is 2-4; flowers 1–2 mm long and 2 mm wide; stigmas 2.
Leaves: Leaves alternately crowded, linear-oblong, spathulate, flat, rounded at tip and narrowed at base in S. monoica;  long and sickle-shaped when young, base truncate and apex acute in S. maritima
Flowers: are 3mm long, 4mm wide in S. maritima, 2–3 mm long and 3mm wide in S. monoica,

Suaeda sps ??? 

yes it is Suaeda monoica very common around Pulicat lake and south of Nellore

I agree with … it is S.monoica Amaranthaceae family.

Thanks … for the ID. It came with the the TAG >  S.maritima. I have requested for the  photographs of the flowers for the final ID of the species. I will send them as soon as received.
