Huberantha korinti (Dunal) Chaowasku (syn: Hubera korinti (Dunal) Chaowasku; Guatteria korinti Dunal; Polyalthia korinti (Dunal) Thwaites);

Habit- Small trees up to 5 m tall.

Trunk & Bark- Bark brownish, smooth.
Branches and branchlets- Branchlets terete, glabrous, lenticellate.
Leaves- Leaves simple, alternate, distichous; petiole 0.3-0.4 cm long, canaliculate, glabrous; lamina 6-8 x 3-4, elliptic to ovate-elliptic, apex acuminate and twisted, base acute, margin entire, glabrous beneath; midrib raised above; secondary nerves ca. 6 pairs, domatia present at axils; tertiary nerves broadly reticulate to obscure.
Inflorescence / Flower- Flowers solitary, axillary.
Fruit and Seed- Cluster of 1-seeded ovoid berries.
Understorey trees in dry evergreen forests ca. 300 m.
South India and Sri Lanka; in the Western Ghats- Agasthyamalai.

the leaf and  fruits does  not match with Polyalthia suberosa; may be Polyalthia korinti


young fruits half damaged flower are seen in first picture, based on the characters of leaf, and other available characters it is Polyalthia korinti only
