This is Caralluma indica, collected from Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The flower showing amazing colour variations from Green, white and red.
C. indica flowers have a odour of rotten fungus and the underground stem is whitish.
Flowers terminal, umbellate cyme, few flowered (4-8). Calyx 5-lobed, ovate-oblong, apex acute. Corona staminal and biseriate, lobes green, light-yellow with extreme tip purplish. Hairs are present except the tip portion.
