Chlorophytum arundinaceum ? (mixed thread)- correct subject is Chlorophytum nepalense (Lindl.) Baker : Attachments (9)

Location:  Shivapuri National Park, Nepal
Date: 24 August 2018
Elevation:6500 ft.
Habit : Wild

It does not look like Chlorophytum nepalense. Its flowers looks very close to C. glaucum

Chlorophytum glaucum is not listed in Nepal.

It is not C. nepalense for sure. May I request you to give me a day or twice for identification (want to see keys).

Yes, may be C. nepalense

To me this specimen seems to be of C. arundinaceum. The anther filaments to me appear smooth (not papillate as in C. glaucoides, C. glaucum). The species is reported from Bhutan and Myanmar. I do not know whether it is there in Nepal or not. I should also mention that in Chlorophytum root character is very important. Roots can be tuberous or fascicled. Here, it should be tuberous.
Additionally, chromosome number is also important.
The best thing would be that the collector should write a description so that species identity can be fixed properly. I am attaching a reprint of mine which might be of some use.

Thank you … But I guess elevation is not matching according to the FN link.

I guess it is matching with C.arundinaceum, however some differences in elevation. Enclosing image fro book from Dept. of Plant Resources, Nepal for comparison.
Please look into it and validate.

Trying to figure out correct ID out of three listed in Nepal. Does not look like C. nepalense !

since dug it out anyway. how about herbarium preservation. did you? can we look at the leaf blade? and the flowering stalk?

I have posted 10 images. I guess image 0731 would be ok !

I think appears close to Chlorophytum khasianum Hook.f. as per Specimens at GBIF

perfect. Herbarium is what I was getting at and you found it …, your link brings us to this page GBIF specimen

Thank you …! All links  POWO,CoL , GBIF  and efi says this is syn of Chlorophytum nepalense (Lindl.) Baker but ACFPoN listed separately as well as recent book published by Govt. of Nepal. Even flowering pattern for both sp. looks different.
Chlorophytum

I guess this also look like Chlorophytum arundinaceum. Any opinion …?
