‘Maan Sevi’ meaning ‘Ear of Deer’, and also called Tael Kadipoondu; ‘Vander Roti’ ‘वांदर रोटी’ in Marathi; Subshrubs; branchlets angled above. Leaves alternate, to 14 x 8 cm, obovate to oblanceolate, base cuneate, apex obtuse, entire. Corymbs terminal. Heads homogamous, cylindric, 1.5 cm. Florets to 2.5 cm long; corolla cream or yellowish, tube to 18 mm. Achene linear or oblong, to 5.5 mm, ribbed; pappus 1.5 cm.
