Saussurea sp. for ID ABOCT2017/06 : 10 posts by 4 authors. Attachments (8) I saw these plants in early September when I went for a day trek to Ilaqa. The flowers were not yet out and I made a mental note to return to them soon. Unfortunately, on my next trek after about 10 days, I could not find the plants. I came home and looked at the time stamp on my earlier photos to determine the rough location. Next time on 1 October, I did find the plants but by then they were well past their prime flowering time. I did manage one bud with extended white stamen like growth still lingering. The leaves are quite clear and so are the buds. Could we hazard a guess?
