Common name: Elegant Balsam

India: Tamil Nadu (Anamallay hills Poonachi & Kadamparai 700 m to 1500 m) and Kerala (Travancore hills). Endemic. as per BSI Flora of India;

Habitat- Wild

Plant Habit – Shrub

Height/Length- About 1 ft.

Note : Often confused with Impatiens cordata in appearance.

Note the absence of spur in I.elegans unlike in I.cordata.
