Leaves of two different species or same??

One look like Begonia ??


seems it is a leaf of Dioscorea, possibly d. esculenta or even dioscorea alata ….kham aloo. look for the dried up vine with compound spines// kanta in d. esculanta

and a yam in the soil. … you will have to go back and look and may be even dig up a root. or let monsoon come and see the vine regrow and look for flowers etc. to rule out Dioscrea
