Abyssinian cabbage, Abyssinian mustard, African cabbage, Ethiopian mustard, Ethiopian rape
Hindi: Karan Rai, cultivar Pusa swarnim
Annual herb with several erect branches up to 2 m tall (this cultivar), purplish; leaves with large terminal lobe and several smaller lobes; flowers yellow, 9-14 mm across, on raceme elongating in fruit; fruit 4-6 cm long, flat with keeled angles, beak 3-6 mm long; seeds yellow (in this cultivar).
