Arabidopsis himalaica from Apharwat, Kashmir:

Syn: *Arabis* *himalaica* Edgew., *Arabis* *rupestre* Edgew., *Sisymbrium* * himalaicum* (Edgew.) Hook. f. & Thoms., *Sisymbrium* *rupestre* (Edgew.) Hook. f. & Thoms.

Much branched herb, branches from base, densely hispid with simple and branched hairs; leaves coarsely toothed, upper stem-clasping, elliptic; flowers lilac, in  distinctly bracteate crowded  raceme; fruit linear, 15-40 mm long, 1 mm broad, glabrous or sparsely pubescent. Common in Khillenmarg and Apharwat mountain slopes in Kashmir, growing among rocks. Photographed in June, 2011.

Brassicaceae Week ::110812- PKA10- :: Arabidopsis himalaica?? along Vasundhara Falls- Mana Trail..:
This is one more Brassicaceae sp. Plant was with small size pinkish coloured flowers. Stem hairy. I had shared this plant earlier during VOF week. … had indicated that this could be Arabidopsis himalaica?? Sharing once again for ongoing Brassicaceae week.
