Brassicaceae Week: Turritis glabra from Kashmir: Turritis glabra Linn., Sp. Pl. 666. 1753.
Syn: Arabis glabra (L.) Bernh.; A. petiolata Lam.
Tall erect narrow simple annual glabrous herb with 5-15 cm long basal leaves; cauline leaves oblong-ovate, sagittate and amplexicaul at base, glacous; flowers pale yellow turning whitish with age, in up to 30 cm long narrow rcemes; pedicels 6-10 mm long, erect and somewhat appressed; petals 4-8 mm long, twice as long as sepals; siliqua linear, terete-4-angled, 4-9 cm long, erect, somewhat appressed to axis.
