Cactus For ID : Nasik : 050714 : AK-9 : 5 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (1).
Seen at a Cactus Nursery in Nasik on 27/2/14.
Very small, cultivated.

This could be Mammillaria decipiens subsp. camptotricha, Bird’s Nest Mammillaria. Just a guess.

If the sides of this looks the same as the top and the “hair” is stiff and coarse, then it is Cephalocereus/ Pilosocereus senilis, nice columnar of Mexico called the Old Man of Mexico.

This link looks very close to my picture.
Kindly check. istockphoto
