This cultivated herb was photographed from Srinagar Kashmir. Looks like Campanula but stigma looks simple and somewhat flattened. Please help in ID
Got it identified from Daves Garden Forum as Platycodon, perhaps Platycodon grandiflorus
It seems(99.9%) to be a Campanula latifolia Linn. specimen! Without fruit characters unable to confirm. If it can be givenI can reconfirm it! I would keep it as Platycodon grandiflorus unless some convincing alternative emerges. It matches very well especially the widening corolla limb not seen in Campanula latifolia. I have feeling that this species has often been confused with C. latifolia especially on the web. I doubt whether it is Campanula latifolia, both from flower size, corolla least recurved and leaves too narrow. I go with …

Seen yesterday at the Flower Show in Jijamata Udyan popularly known as Rani Bagh in Mumbai.
Seems to be Campanula Species.
Is this Platycodon grandiflorus? platycodon is a tall plant though flowers look similar. this one is Campanula carpatica. american harebell
I’m not an expert but my leaves are matching with my suggested id and not with Campanula carpatica. These may be young plants just started flowering. I had posted Campanula carpatica from Niagara Falls. The flower arrangement is also different.
Same flowers in White and light Pink. Seen for the first time at the Flower Show.
