Actinoscirpus grossus

Actinoscirpus grossus (L.f.) Goetgh. & D.A.Simpson, Kew Bull. 46: 171 1991. (Syn: Hymenochaeta grossa (L.f.) Nees; Schoenoplectus grossus (L.f.) Palla; Scirpus grossus L.f.);  
 
 
Found this wild cyperaceae in a lowland beside railway tracks. Could this be any Schoenoplectus species?
Species : UNKNOWN
Habit & Habitat : 4 to 5 feet high or more, trigonal smooth culm, long involucral bracts
Date : 23/9/12, 11.34 a.m.
Place : Madhusudanpur (Hooghly)

Fimbristylis Sp.

I attach two pictures which i recorded at the same place and on the same day and same time. I thought this pictures belong to some grasses. But as i was searching the net i think these two pictures may also come from the same cyperaceae species i posted in this thread.
Any chance of Eriophorum comosum?

Can try with Typha species ?????????

I realize that i have mixed up things. The added photographs are of Typha, certainly.
But, i failed to find any Fimbristylis species in FoC and in FoP that conform to this originally intended post of cyperaceae member.
The only Fimbristylis with trigonal culm that comes closer to the height of this species is Fimbristylis umbellaris.
I paste below the culm sizes of all Fimbristylis species available in Flora of China and Flora of Pakistan websites.

I don’t think your plant is Fimbristylis…..rather it looks a Scirpus sp. to me.

It may not be Fimbristylis as well. Check under Rhyncospora and Scirpus too. Rhyncospora scirpoides also has similar structure.

 
This is 2.5ft ot 5 ft tall cyperaceae, found in a lowland on the day before yesterday (24-Oct-2014).
