Blachia umbellata (Willd.) Baill., Étude Euphorb. 387 1858. (syn: Blachia reflexa Benth.; Codiaeum umbellatum (Willd.) Müll.Arg.; Croton umbellatus Willd.);


Glabrous shrubs; branchlets slender. Leaves to 15 x 5 cm, elliptic, acuminate at apex, base acute; nerves 10-13 pairs, irregular, looping; petiole 1 cm long. Male flowers 5 mm across, 5-10 together in a terminal umbel; pedicel 1.5 cm long; sepals 2.5 x 2 mm, ovate, acute, glabrous; stamens 15-20. Female flowers 8 mm across; 3-5, on stout peduncle, sepals 5, 4 x 2 mm, oblong, acute, glabrous; ovary glabrous; styles 3, 8 mm long, bifid. Capsule 18 mm across, 3-lobed, glabrous.

I think this species belongs to Genus Blachia of Euphorbiaceae


Blachia umbellata, family Euphorbiaceae.
