Looks like Jatropha …..can this be J. gossypifolia?

I think it may be Jatropha glandulifera.

Kindly identify this bush about 60-80 cm tall photographed at the mud dam wall of the Samuthram Lake Tiruvannamalei, Tamil Nadu, in September 2014.

Green fruits about 1-2 cm wide.
