True Tragia hispida Willd. (Euphorbiaceae) : 2 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (1) I am attaching herewith an image of the true Tragia hispida – much misinterpreted/ misidentified in most of the Indian Floras.
This is a climber, creeper or trailer with intermittent distribution. It is surprisingly growing as a common creeper near railway tracks at Kalyani and Mourigram in West Bengal.
I have so far seen herbarium specimens only from Uttarakhand, Bihar, Assam and West Bengal and one specimen from Bangladesh.
