Plant for ID : Nasik : 22NOV20 : AK-14 : 4 images.
A wild plant seen today (22.11.20) in Nasik.

This is close to Cullen corylifolium.
But I am unable to find white flowered ones on searching.
There were many plants in that area, with Purple and White flowers on different plants.

Bakuchi (Bawchi) and Leucoderma:
Bawchi i.e. Psoralea corylifoila is well reputed herb for Vitiligo or Leucoderma. Although we are aware of only one type of Bawchi but the Traditional Healers are aware of tens of types of Bawchi. They practice Traditional Allelopathic Knowledge to get Bawchi of desired types. Last week my article (?) on this aspect published in local newspaper.

Psoralea corylifolia: 4 high res. images.
Could anyone help me to identify this plant?Location: Rajgir, Nalanda, Bihar
Date: 5 October 2021
Habitat: Open abandoned field – from … as per link.

A reply as per Need IDntification Help:
It is a legume, likely to be Cyanosis tetragonoloba…. May be an extended growth from a cultivated patch..
I thought it to be Psoralea too, but more likely to be former

As per the literature, both Psoralea corylifolia and Cyanosis tetragonoloba overlap in flowering/ fruiting time. So far, there is no sign of flowering here in the Rajgir population. I will take flower/fruit pictures and come back to you to reconfirm species again with flower/fruit pictures.

The stem and leaves do not match with Cyamosis tetragonoloba. In C.tetragonoloba we see trifoliate leaves and stem tetragonolobus.

Yes, I will also go with … as per stem character as per image at Cullen corylifolium rather than Cyamopsis tetragonoloba
