Requesting to please ID this shrub captured in a nursery in Lonavala, Maharashtra in October 2013.

Just a guess…  I had seen a similar plant in Atlanta Botanical Garden which was identified as Lespedeza Species.
Your plant looks close to Lespedeza bicolor.


This should be Lespedeza bicolor Turcz.
Since there is no record in wild in Flora of Maharashtra, cultivated as an ornamental flowering shrub as Shrubby Bushclover, native to China.
