some photos of Mucuna 9 images. 1 post by 1 author.

As there was discussion on Mucuna few days back I am sending some photos of the same.
M.monosperma and gigantea were seen in Andaman recently.
M.gigantea has 4 to 8 in. long pod with smooth faces and double wings along both edges and with 2-4 seeds.
‘Flora of Andaman describes also ‘M. nigricans’  with long pods having folds and plaits on the surface,
with wings along the edges and 2 or 3 seeds.
Dr S. R. yadav has discribed yet anather species as M.sanjappi.
Perhaps M.gigantea and nigricans are endemic to Andaman?

It is to request to you all for an information on the suppliers of Mucuna gigantia and Mucuna monosperma seeds. I am in need of these two plant seeds, for research purpose. if any member of this group have any information in this regard, please let me know.
