Pterocarpus species- Mettupalayam, Tamilnadu

It looks to me as an exotic Pterocarpus sp.

A clear picture of the flower is needed. the pod indicates it belong to fabaceae, interesting plant

Does not look like any ‎Pterocarpus species in efi.

Any photographs showing the closeup of the flowers and fruits.  What about the broad light green structures.

Thank you … but Based on the characters I have identified the plant as Dalbergia ecastophyllum;
A shrub, up to 20 ft. or more high, with dark purple branchlets and small crowded panicles of fragrant white flowers; in swamps by the sea.The simple leaves have petioles 5 to 12 mm long and elliptical or ovate blades 2.5 to 14 cm long and 2 to 8 cm broad. They are leathery, glossy green, rounded at the base, pointed at the tip, and pubescent on the under side; fruits elongated, lenticular about 1.5 to 3 cm long that contains one flattened, brown seed.
there are several variations in the pictures on Net; sometimes there may be ecological variations also.

The description of the species Dalbergia ecastaphyllum itself says it is with simple leaves. But photographs shows the pinnate nature of leaves. Flower also indicate that it may be belonging to Pterocarpus. 

Pterocarpus bear yellow coloured flowers; could it be Pterocarpus indicus/ Pterocarpus dalbergioides;
since the flower and other particulars are not clear in the images, and no description is offered it is difficult to conclude, any thing would be a wild guess looking at the unclear images.
