This plant could be Tephrosia vogelii or commonly known as Vogel tephrosia.
Also known as Fish Poison Bean.
I had photographed these flowers at Nairobi, Kenya during a visit in Jan,2009.

I had a feeling that this plant was used as a green manure crop. I have now also learned it is used to control insects.
