Vigna angularis (Willd.) Ohwi & H.Ohashi  ??

I do not know.
But does not seem to match with any species so far in efi as per comparative images at Vigna

I am not sure if the following link matches. Or Vigna angularis var. nipponensis ??

The plant showing in the photographs is Vigna angularis (Willd.) Ohwi & Ohashi.
Please confirm the same.

Thank you …!

Vigna angularis var. nipponensis (Ohwi) Ohwi & H.Ohashi??

Thanks, …,

What is the difference between the two varieties i.e. Vigna angularis var. angularis and Vigna angularis var. nipponensis (Ohwi) Ohwi & H.Ohashi ?

Comparing net images I feel it is more close to Vigna angularis var. nipponensis (Ohwi) Ohwi & H.Ohashi
Wikimedia

As both are varieties of the same species, differences are going to be minimal and we may not be able to judge by images until we know the difference between the two.

Aa per Reasearchgate paper, Azuki (Vigna angularis var. angularis) is regarded to have been domesticated in China, Manchuria, Korea or Japan from its wild ancestral form, Vigna angularis var. nipponensis (Ohwi) Ohwi & Ohashi. Recently, the natural distribution of Vigna angularis var. nipponensis was reported to be wider than recognized before, ranging from Japan, Korea, China to Himalaya (Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal). Almost all global production of azuki occurs in four countries: Japan, China, Taiwan, and South Korea.
Checklist of Nepal mentions only Vigna angularis var. nipponensis (Willd.) Ohwi & H. Ohashi. I think being wild, we may take all our posts from Nepal at Vigna angularis as Vigna angularis var. nipponensis (Willd.) Ohwi & H. Ohashi only.
