Very interesting! Are the last two photos of the same tree, …? Are there any other oak species present in the area?

The first 5 photos are of Quercus franchetii which resembles Q. oblongata and the last photo can be of Quercus serrata (or any of its varieties). Can you get more close-ups of leaves, acorn, cup or bud of the tree in the last photos?

It is very much possible. One of my arborist and forester friends from Spain has confirmed it who specialise in oaks. He is growing Quercus franchetii in his arboretum which was sourced from Bhutan. Bhutan has also not listed this species in their country. There is also a great possibility that it may be exotic over there, brought from China for afforestation. Did you find just a grove or a large forest?
The flowering happens in February-March and fruit rips in 1-2 years.
The last photo is hard to id. More details are required. Photos of abaxially surface, acorns, bark, etc.
Whatever it is, it’s interesting! I would like to visit this area in falls and collect acorns! Thanks for sharing.
