Annual herb up to 80 cm tall, 4-angled; leaves narrowly ovate to linear-oblong, 1.5-4 cm long; inf. paniculate; flowers pentamerous; calyx lobes narrowly ovate, 4-9 mm long; corolla bluish-white or greenish-yellow with purple band and spots above the gland, lobes ovate; gland single per lobe; filaments dilated in middle or gradually dilated towards base; capsule 6-10 mm long.
