This plant was seen on the Rhine river bank near Zurich, CH. Pics were taken in April 2016.
Requested to please ID.

Ahh… one of my favourites… Ground Ivy (Glechoma hederacea). I hope you crushed and smelt it? Awesome plant…

Thank you so much …
Had I known the identity of it earlier, I would have surely done that …, but we were visiting that place with family and I sneaked in the photo activity in the little time that we had there.
Also when you travel with family, not everyone likes this ‘waste of time’ as they call it 🙂
I also came across a similar plant in Vienna, Austria. Attached are the pics, could this also be the same? I apologise for the quality of pics. Attachments (5)

Gundermann

in picture 8335 there is gundermann and brennnessel. in 8336 Gunderemann and waldmeister. see foto

Thank you … Waldmeister means ‘Galium odoratum’ and Brennnessel means ‘Urtica dioica’ as per Wiki. The Galium odoratum flowers look pretty (as per images on the net) but I do not recollect seeing the flowers at that time.
