Lantana trifolia L. SN Nov13 : 3 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (3)
Lantana trifolia L small shrub from Virajpet area of Coorg, Karnataka

thanks very nice pictures
I am going to ask a silly question..
why would it be called trifolia when its only two leaves at the node?

New to me too. Is it native?

Was not aware of any other species from genus Lantana.

I had seen the name somewhere but never a picture or real life specimen
… this looks new to me too

This is not Lantana trifolia as per Useful Tropical plants  Wikimedia Commons

Then it may be a Garden escape Lantana montividensis

This is Hyptis capitata, an invasive weed introduced to India during the last decade. Now widespread
