Height/Length- ca. 10cm; erect
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- ca. 3 X 1 cm
Inflorescence Type/ Size- axillary; 1cm long
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- white


I think this is Leucas biflora one of the flowers fell down


.., It is Leucas aspera  from Lamiaceae family.  It is found on the borders of rice fields in Kerala.  In malayalam we call it Thumba and it is used for floral arrangement during Onam festival.


I dont think, the species is L. biflora. Anyway it look alike L. aspera
But its not like the plants we have here in Kozhikode.


This herb is not L. aspera.
