Please help in the identification of this Premna species, is it Premna corymbosa

It is a scandent shrub; leaves glabrous, flowers in cymes, corolla purplish, 1 cm long. Calyx 2 lipped. fruit globose, 0.5 cm across, seated on the persistent calyx.

Yes, … A less known species, seem to be confused with other species http://www.tropicos.org/name/33700555

It is only recorded from AP and TN in India, and from Sri Lanka.

where exactly in the western ghats
eastern end? or where

near by town/ village will be helpful

Premna sp?

Looks like a species of Premna; probably P. alstonii, the fruits turn purple when ripe.
