Clerodendrum for identification:
Another straggling shrub of the family Verbenaceae in Riyadh gardens, appears to be a species of Clerodendrum. Any help for its identity?

Please check with Clerodendrum glabrum E.Mey.

Yes it is confirmed as Clerodendrum glabrum E. Mey and the thread is closed here.

Request Tree ID 0011:
Lalbagh, Bangalore

Any Clerodendrum species. Not sure.

When I search in google, for Clerodendrum species
I don’t see anything matching this.
Also, this is a small tree compared to the shrubs in the above mentioned species

Some features appear to be of Genus Cordia ….But can’t think any further.

Adding few more pictures

Fagraea fragrans
http://www.natureloveyou.sg/Fagraea%20fragrans/Main.html
Thanks to the above site, I got two of my long standing requests.

For me the identification is doubtful. The photographs do not match well with the photographs of F.fragrans in the web. Comments from experts needed. Perhaps I may be wrong.

I think it is ixora pavetta

I do not think that this is a species of Ixora.

Yes I agree with …, calyx lobes are clearly below the ovary/young fruit. Not a member of Rubiaceae.

At least this is not the Fagraea fragrans.

Lamiaceae member

Volkameria glabra (E.Mey.) Mabb. & Y.W.Yuan

My presumption is correct. Earlier I suggested Clerodendrum species.  Now it is Volkameria the new name.
