Pinguicula ‘Aphrodite’
A cultivar, hybrid between Pinguicula agnata and P. moctezumae, with linear-oblong leaves with rounded tips, lighter green in colour with buttery surface, up to 12 cm long and 2 cm broad, in basal rosette, edges slightly rolled down. Flowers 2-4 cm across, violet coloured fading to pink, with a long slender spur, flowers borne singly on long scape.

Nice plant to know. We have P.alpina in Uttarakhand which is considered as insectivorous.
