Utricularia kumaonensis Oliv. (Lentibulariaceae) is a tiny herb on moist mossy vertical slopes in the Himalaya above 2000m elevation.
I photographed it at Pilthi Gad, on way to Ralam in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. It is the same place from where ‘Neotype’ of this species was collected by Strachey & Winterbottom nearly one and a half century ago. I have included one image of seeds taken by my simple cybershot camera to show that seeds bear long appendages on both ends.
These images seem to be the first of this species on net as suggests the google search.
It is a new addition to eFI.
