Erect or climbing herbs or undershrubs. Stems and branches soft brownish pubescent. Leaves alternate, simple or deeply 3 lobed, suborbicular to orbicular, about 1.5-4.5 x 1.3 x 3.5 cm across, base deeply cordate to truncate, lobes deltoid, margins crenate-dentate, apex acute to obtuse, pubescent with stellate hairs both above and beneath, petiole pubescent, about 1.5-3.5 cm across, stipules linear filiform, about 2 mm long. Inflorescence usually axillary solitary, rarely terminal clusters. Flowers bisexual, pedicel about 0.5-1.5 cm long, epicalyx 3, large, base free, membranous when mature, about 1.5-2.5 cm across, calyx 5 lobed, about 5 mm long, corolla campanulate, petals 5, purple, blue or rarely yellow, about 1.5-3 x 1-1.5 cm across. Staminal column, 5 toothed at apex, about 8-15 mm long, anthers basifixed, in the upper half. Ovary 5 carpellate, ovules 2 per locule, style 5. Fruit dehiscent, capsule, ovoid, about 6 x 5 mm across, ribbed, reticulate, chartaceous, slightly winged, dehiscing loculicidally, wrinkled, villous or pubescent. Seeds reniform, about 2 x 1 mm across, villous or pubescent, brown.

Could not find a match as per comparative images at Abutilon (with species so far in efi site) 

Are the fruits look like OKRA?

(Local name-Abdau Kapas /Abdau vonn).
