this is my wow flower.

a few years ago had run into a story of one more doctor who had a strong leaning towards botany and the history of fuschia corymbiflora.
here it is fascinating and sometimes tragic history of plant collectors.
fascinating yet sad stories of the gardening craze in the historic UK.
