The one at Lalbagh Botanical Gardens is in a sorry state. Half of it has dried up.
Raman Ji was kind enough to show me earlier.
I have taken some pictures last month. . This was clicked at the Indian Botanic Garden (AJBC Garden) at Shibpur, Howrah, WB in December 2021.
Nameplate identified it as Mischodon zeylanicus.
I guess pics of this tree are already present in the efi database.
Luckily I observed it in the flowering stage.
I guess the correct ID ! Nice upload of a very distinct species under Picrodendreae family. For the first time I am coming across this family. .
