Similar to R. pungens and R. indotibetanus but stems and branches with dense long flexuose gland-tipped bristles 2-4mm; leaflets 5 or 7, lanceolate; flowers small, calyx lobes lanceolate, 6-10mm, softly pilose and glandular hairy, not prickly; petals white, 5mm; fruit cylinder, 2 x 1 -1.5cm.
