Keys as per Flora of China and As per efi thread: What struck me is the spathulate calyx given in the description in your book link (at MS,Aug., 2021/08 Luculia sp.for id.) for Luculia pinceana, which I found at Plants from Northeast Tour 2017- Luculia pinceana from Cherrapunji, Meghalaya. Also lamellate appendages at the base of corolla lobes for this species can be seen at Rubiaceae Week: Sharing Rubiaceae Photo from Arunachal Pradesh and A small tree with white flowers and Tohangam,Lohit, .

Plenty of this flowering shrubs have been seen in South Sikkim. I tried to get the ID from Stainton & Polunin’s ‘Flowers of the Himalaya’.
Possibly it is Luculia gratissima. Experts may kindly comment. Luculia gratissima May be Luculia pinceana as per keys at

Kindly request you to identify with scientific names. These photos have been taken in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya.
It must be a Luculia sp. This may be Luculia gratissima (Wall.) Sweet as corolla tube appears to be longer as per keys in Flora of China Yes On further checking, this is Luculia pinceana only as per keys herein (spathulate calyx). .
