Leaves opposite, 3-8 x 1.5-3 cm, ovate-lanceolate, acute to shortly acuminate at apex, round to broadly attenuate at base; petioles 0.8-2.5 cm long; stipules broadly ovate, caudately acuminate at apex, pubescent. Cymes terminal, 1.5-2.5 cm diam; bracteoles 4-5 mm long, filiform. Calyx tube ca 1 mm long; lobes minute. Corolla white; tube 4-5 mm long. Ovary ca 1 mm long. Capsule 15-.20 mm long, 3-4mm wide.
