To me it seems to be some Garcinia Sp.

Garciniaspecies in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available)

It may not be Garcinia (cluciaceae has opposite leaves, flowers doesn’t look like)

May be some Rosaceae member (sour fruits, many stamens in flowers)
or may be Olacaceae member (but flowers with many stamens- not supporting this).
In any case I am not sure as it is a new plant for me.

It may be a species of Stixis (= Roydsia).

The plant was in fruiting. The fruits are edible and it tastes sweet.

Try Sapotaceae?

Can it be from Coffea ?

Fruits are berries. But without leaf and clear images it misleads

Pl. try
