Saxifraga brunonis Wall. ex Ser. (Saxifragaceae) is a common herb in alpine zones of Uttarakhand. It often occurs over rocks and multiplies by sending runners to surrounding area.

Growing on a rock face not far from the swertia plants was this saxifrage which I first mistook to be S. stenophylla but on closer examination decided it was closer to S. brunonis. Please advise.
