From HPU Shimla Campus. this is the only tree we have seen in Northern India.

This large tree was shot from campus of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla..
I was told this is Cunninghamia chinensis.. wanted to get validating/correcting remarks..
Perhaps this is an uncommon gymnosperm..

For me it is Cunninghamia chinensis too.

It is a planted tree. Not so common but grows very well above 3000ft elevations. Very old trees are there in Sikkim, Kodaikanal, Yercaud etc

Araucaria species?
Kindly confirm.

It is Auraucaria sp. but not aware with introduced flora around Naini Tal. Seeing the leaf it may be A.bidwilii, the Bunya-Bunya tree. Not sure.

This should be Araucaria bidwillii.

It seems to be Cunninghamia lanceolata

Yeah it should be. My apologies for the wrong ID. Bidwillii will have shorter leaves I assume.
