Lantana veronicifolia, characterized by small scandent unarmed plants with white flowers. Synonyms: L. indica var. albiflora, L. wightiana. L. indica is erect, unarmed and the flowers are other than white (pink, purple or rose).
Undershrub, scandent or subscandent, sometimes prostrate; branches obtusely 4-angular, pale; young parts scabrous; nodes annulate; internodes 2-8 cm long. Leaves ovate or suborbicualr, truncate to acute at base, crenulate along margins, obtuse to acute at apex, 2-4.5 x 1.5-3 cm, chartaceous, villous or softly appressed-pubescent on both surfaces; lateral nerves 6-8 pairs, obscure above, distinct beneath; petioles filiform, ca 1 cm long.
