B.bladhii<\/em> will have more no pits on sessile spikelets,<\/span> whereas B.pertusa<\/em> has one single pit on the sessile spikelet,<\/span> which is clearly visible. Also, the silvery white hairs are also characteristic of pertusa<\/em>. <\/span>Since the inflorescence is mature and more branched, it is looking like B.bladhii<\/em> superficially from a distance, but a close up reveals that it is B.pertusa<\/em> only.<\/p>\n

I think … is correct.
\nI could see the hairy stigma in the second picture. This could be some infection. The other inflorescence\/branch of inflorescence, in which flowers are yet to open, seems healthy.<\/span><\/p>\n
