The leaf surface of Cardiospermum<\/b> corindum <\/b><\/i>(syn. C. canescens<\/i> ) is densely hairy<\/span> in respect to Cardiospermum<\/b> halicacabum<\/b><\/i>.<\/span> Leaf shape is also different. Fruit shape is elliptic and long in Cardiospermum corindum<\/i> <\/span><\/span>in respect to C. halicacabum<\/i>, where the fruit is globose or broadly pyriform<\/span>

Yes, this is Cardiospermum canescens<\/i> (= C. halicacabum<\/i> var. luridum<\/i>). Stems and leaves are densely hairy; fruits inflated, more than 2 cm across, neither lobed, nor winged.<\/span><\/p>\n

you almost got it. This is Cardiospermum microcarpum<\/i> Kunth.
\nLeaves are pubescent and the flowers (size should have been given) are almost 2 cm, much bigger than in C. halicacabum<\/i>.<\/span> The capsules are not winged <\/span>as in latter.<\/span><\/div>\n

It is very interesting to note that KEW herbarium marked as type species of C. corindum<\/i>\u00a0L. is very similar to what I see here – C. helicacabum<\/i>\u00a0L., a very common herb (and we have only this one here, in Hooghly) –<\/p>\n
