Leaves : Shiny hairless mostly 2 cm long, paler or glaucous beneath and with toothed or almost entire leaf margins. <\/font>Male catkins cylindrical 2cm, yellowish hairless short stalked born above the leaves; nbracts obovate,brown hairless; stamens filaments hairless. <\/font>Female catkins similar to male 2.5cm stigmas entire.<\/font><\/font><\/div>\n
Fruiting catkins rather lax; capsule 3.5mm.reddish hairless.
