This was identified for me by … at the time. And I did not have time to observe this species closely at the time as I was part of a butterfly survey there.<\/div>\n
The other taxon mentioned by …- Peristrophe montana<\/i> Nees<\/span><\/a> seems to be distinct from Dicliptera montana <\/i>Lindau<\/span><\/a>.
\nThe former is mentioned in the following floras and the descriptions are as follows-
\nFlora of Palghat<\/b>– Erect herbs; leaves elliptic, acuminate; flowers pale pink, in cymes, <\/span>bracts 2, conspicuous, leafy<\/b>, elliptic, glabrous\/sparesly hairy; <\/span>corolla tube twisted<\/b>; <\/span>filaments pubescent<\/b>.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Flora of Cannanore (Kannur, the district in which this plant was clicked)-<\/b> erect undershrub; leaves elliptic, acuminate; flowers pink, in axillary and terminal cymes.<\/span><\/div>\n
