Dutchman’s pipe (Aristolochia elegans<\/i>) is\u00a0similar to several closely related\u00a0introduced species that have also become naturalised in Australia, including pelican flower (Aristolochia grandiflora<\/i>), fragrant Dutchman’s pipe (Arsitolochia odoratissima<\/i>) and gaping Dutchman’s pipe (Aristolochia ringens<\/i>). It is also very similar to the cultivated giant dutchman’s pipe (Aristolochia gigantea<\/i>) which is\u00a0often confused with pelican flower (Aristolochia grandiflora<\/i>) in the horticultural industry.
